DAY 1 DOLMABAHCE & BOSPHORUS CRUISE
Enjoy a full day tour of the Bosphorus district, the most beautiful part of the Istanbul city. Firstly we visit the Dolmabahce Palace which was the imperial residence of the Turkish Ottoman Empire in the 19th Century. With its splendor Ottoman Baroque exterior and interior decorations, giant crystal chandeliers, priceless painting collection and the grand ceremonial hall it is a reminder of the formidable Ottoman Empire.
Then, we have a brief visit to the Yildiz Royal Gardens, one of the oxygen breaks in the middle of the city. We stroll through the imperial gardens which is ornamented with some kiosks and beautiful vegetation. After lunch at a local restaurant, we embark on the Bosphorus ferry for a breathtaking cruise along the worlds one most strategic straits, which connects Black Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, via Marmara Sea and the Dardanelles.
Along the shore we view Ciragan Palace which nowadays is Hotel Kempinsky, Dolmabahce Palace, two of the suspension Bosphorus bridges that connects Europe to Asia, the unique 15thCentury Rumeli Fortress, the Kuleli Military Academy building where Florance Nightingale once worked and some of worlds priciest mansions that we call Yalis.
Following the disembarkation, we drive to Eyup along the old city walls via Golden Horn estuary. We take the cable car up to Pierre Loti hill and have some free time here to enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the estuary and the historical peninsula in the horizon.
