Good Morning! After the meeting, we are starting our first visit to
Uçhisar Panorama. That point is located in the
Village of Uchisar which is the highest village in the region between Nevsehir City & Goreme Village. Having a geostrategic position, this magnificent castle was used as an observatory for watching the whole region from the top to prevent enemy attacks. After Uchisar, we are driving to the
Kaymakli or Derinkuyu Underground City, the widest, most enchanting, and one of the over 100 most wonderful underground cities in the Cappadocia Touristic Region. It’s situated on Aksaray province road in southwestern. Miraculously well protected and maintained structure has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. Then, we are going to visit
Nar Crater Lake. It is a crater lake that was formed when a volcano blew its top sometime in the not too distant geological past. The hot sulfurous water, which still bubbles up from somewhere below the surface, is supposed to be good for curing all kinds of skin problems. Hot water surging out from the south and north shores of the lake is supposed to be useful in treating rheumatism and many people from neighbouring villages come here for a cure. We will have lunch in a local restaurant. After that, we continued to see the
Ihlara Valley. Ihlara Valley (often misspelt as Ilhara Valley), near Mount Hasan and Mount Melendiz (two of the three volcanoes of Cappadocia), is a canyon with a depth of approximately 80m and was formed by the Melendiz River thousands of years ago with walking routes inside. As a final point, we are going to see the
Pigeon Valley. The valley is named for the many pigeon houses or dovecotes carved into the rocks and cliffs. After the program, we are going back to the hotel.
You are going to see;
Ihlara Valley, Underground City, Nar Crater Lake, Uchisar, Pigeon Valley & Uchisar Panorama.
